🏍️ Who I AM
Meet Sharon Cline
Creator • Host • Producer • Rider
I’m Sharon Cline, creator and host of History Hwy—a history and travel series exploring America from the seat of my Harley-Davidson Sportster, Ahyoka.
My background includes professional voice-over work and years spent researching visual media and stories at CNN. With History Hwy, I bring that experience onto the road, combining research, solo motorcycle travel, and conversations with the people who keep history alive.
I independently research, interview, host, film, and edit each story. From choosing a destination to shaping the finished episode, I follow my curiosity—and the questions that make me want to pull over, walk inside, and learn more.
History lives in people
A historic place can tell you when something happened. The people connected to it can help you understand why it still matters.
That’s what draws me in: the memories, traditions, and personal connections that bring a place to life. Through History Hwy, I explore the past while getting to know the people carrying its stories forward.
Traveling by motorcycle is part of that discovery. It brings me closer to the places I visit and often starts a conversation before I’ve even taken off my helmet. Ahyoka and I arrive with questions. We leave with stories.
What drives the ride
I’ve always had a heart wired for wonder. I love learning about people—what shaped them, what they cherish, and what they hope someone will remember.
History Hwy grows out of that curiosity, my faith, and my belief that there is something sacred in us all. I want to approach each person with care and give their story the attention it deserves.
My hope is that you’ll come away from these stories knowing something new, feeling connected to someone you’ve never met, or wanting to explore a place for yourself.
Let’s tell a story
I welcome conversations with historic sites, tourism organizations, motorcycle and travel brands, and others interested in thoughtful, people-centered storytelling.
